Problem Statement

New EU regulations require station operators to collect and publish far more detailed infrastructure data, including fully navigable graph models of stations. Manual surveys for this data are too labour-intensive, instead the unstructured station information should be converted into usable data.

Proposed Solution

Assess how far the extraction of structured infrastructure data from unstructured sources and semi‑structured maintenance systems can be automated.
